Dear Devotees of Holy Mother Ganga,
The existence of of life line of India,
"Mother Ganga" is in peril. Regularly increasing pollution, deforestation,
untreated industrial and domestic sewage emission of rural and urban areas,
haphazard growth of population, construction of large dams, global warming,
shrinking of Himalayan glaciers, etc. are the threats before us. If we don't
fight these menaces like a competent combantant, the day is not far away when
the flow of Mother Ganga would be confined in the books of History. Thus this is
the need of our time to initiate a worldwide movement to protect the holy water
of Mother Ganga.
Bharat Jagriti mission, the pioneer of this
movement, invites you to join this campaign by sending the under-leaf referendum
to the Prime Minister to build pressure on Indian Government, so that a holistic
project could be launched by the government in order to save the Mother Ganga,
the 'Symbol of Peace'.
